Bard Closes Transaction to Acquire Specialized Health Products International, Inc.

MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 2008--C. R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR) today announced that it has closed the previously disclosed acquisition of the outstanding shares of Specialized Health Products International, Inc. Bard will immediately commence global marketing of the acquired line of vascular access products, including winged infusion sets.
