Bard Promotes Jim C. Beasley to Group Vice President

MURRAY HILL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 13, 2009-- C. R. Bard, Inc., (NYSE: BCR) today announced that Jim C. Beasley, 46, has been promoted to Group Vice President with responsibility for the Bard Access Systems and Bard Peripheral Vascular divisions, effective May 1, 2009.

Jim joined Bard in 1989 and advanced through the sales and marketing organizations prior to being promoted to President of Bard Access Systems in 2003 and President of Bard Peripheral Vascular in 2007.

In addition to his new responsibilities as Group Vice President, Jim will continue to serve as President of Bard Peripheral Vascular.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Midwestern State University in Texas.
